About Polymeric Sand
What is Polymeric Sand?
Polymeric sand is a blend of fine sand and polymer additives that, when activated with water, hardens to create a durable bond between pavers. It prevents weed growth, insect infestation, and erosion of joint sand.
Application Tips
- Ensure pavers are completely dry before application
- Sweep sand into joints until full (1/8" below paver surface)
- Use a plate compactor to settle sand into joints
- Remove all excess sand from surface before wetting
- Activate with light water mist - avoid over-watering
